Snunu is a relatively new restaurant that has opened in JLT, serving grills and seafood. Named after a bird, it is located on the ground floor of Saba Tower 3, near the parking, in Cluster Q.
The interiors are nothing extravagant, there’s nothing fancy about this place except that their lamb chops and grilled items are finger-licking good!!
There is a small outdoor seating area and limited seating inside and a limited menu but Snunu makes up for all this in their food.
I had visited with friends and as soon as we were seated, we were served a big bowl of Lentil Soup. Warm, thick, rich and flavourful…it was soo good.
Then we had the best dish of the night – juicy and succulent Lamb Chops. I’m not kidding you when I say they were one of the best I’ve had till date.
Along with various salads, some special dips, fries, mashed potatoes, and their special bread, we had two types of grilled chicken – one spicy and one regular, and two types of grilled fish – sea bass and tilapia. Everything was well marinated and cooked to perfection. The spicy chicken was very tasty and so was the grilled fishes.
Here, we also got to try the Georgian drink, Natakhtati, in different flavours like lemonade, peach, and grape.
Overall, a nice place to have some fresh grills at reasonable rates.
