Craving for Chinese food while staying at home to save the world, resulted in me trying Chin Chin Restaurant for the first time. Though I had heard mixed reviews about them, I decided to give it a try.
For starters, I chose Prawns in Lemon, Chilli and Basil and one of their bestsellers, Crispy Beef. The prawns were marinated in a perfect blend of sour and spicy and was one of our favourites. The Crispy Beef was crunchy and a little too tangy, but I loved it.
Another dish that I loved was the Homestyle Mixed Fried Rice which tasted amazing and was a good combination with the curries. Hubby ordered Mixed Hakka Noodles which was not bad either. But I prefer something with more flavour.
The Thai Red Chicken Curry was simply delectable. I loved it so much that I saved some for the next day 😊 One thing I felt that could be improved is to reduce the size of the chicken pieces in the curry. But nevertheless, it was bang on flavour. I also tried Beef Broccoli, a good balance of beef, broccoli and carrot.
The delivery was prompt and the packaging was neatly done with no spills or leakages at all. They were also very generous with the portion sizes.
