L’eto Caffe has an amazing jaw-dropping display of cakes and sweets. It is this colourful, scumptious display that always caught my attention while wandering around in Mall of the Emirates
But I used to wonder, would they be as tasty as they look!!!! As the saying goes, can looks be deceiving??!!! The ratings on Zomato also didn’t help. But one fine day, I decided to find out for myself.
So after staring and pondering for a while, I ordered the Saffron milk cake and in my excitement to try something new, went with the Profiterol Dessert as suggested by them.
The Saffron cake was luscious with great flavor and melting in the mouth. The Profiterole Dessert is like a bun filled with sour cream and topped with chocolate. Not a winner for me. The only good thing about it was the chocolate.
We also had Chicken nuggets and sweet potato fries made using Shrek’s recipe from the kids menu, for my little man. It was freshly made and juicy. Must admit….Didn’t expect it to be that good.
And to wash it down, we had the 1 Megawatt – A lip-smacking blend of freshly squeezed lemon, pineapple, watermelon and ginger served in a Light Bulb!!!
There’s also a nice selection of salads to choose from but who needs only greens when there’s a colourful display on the otherside.
Overall, a nice cozy place to visit in MOE. It’s a feast for the eyes and palate.
