Skini Panini in Dubai Marina is a like a kiosk along the Marina Promenade situated closer to Dubai Marina Mall and Pier 7 and it has a small seating area too. The branch at Business Park, near Al Maktoum International Airport is bigger and has more options. They have a branch in Al Quoz also, but that is for deliveries only.
I visited the Marina branch on a Thursday evening with my hubby and kiddo and we ordered a Chicken Avocado Panini (one of their bestsellers), a BBQ Chicken Wrap, and a Classic Beef Burger. All these were served with sweet potato fries and a dip. The fries are not actually fried but baked which is really nice and healthy but sadly, they weren’t crisp. They were sloppy and cold.
The Avocado Chicken Panini was the best. The combination of avocado and chicken was good. The burger was pretty decent with cheese and pickles. The wrap was quite dry and would have done better with a little more BBQ sauce.
For drinks we had, Karak Chai and Ice Tea. Both were nice.
I was disappointed to know that they didn’t have any desserts other than brownies and cookies. The cookies were really good with big chunks of chocolate in them while the brownie was kinda ok too.
Overall, a nice place to be when the weather is cool and to try some healthy paninis.
