As the name suggests, Diva Maharashtracha is an authentic Maharashtrian restaurant located in JLT. Owing to the current situation, instead of visiting the outlet, I got a delivery from here. They have special veg. and non-veg. Iftar meals that come with dates, Kokum Sarbat, chapathis, rice, curries and dessert.
I opted for thenon-veg. Iftar meal. It was neatly packed and delivered without any spills or leakages. It even came with a cute hand written note. The dishes in my order were Veg. pulao, Chicken Hirva Fry, Nagpuri Saoji Mutton, Dal Fry, 2 chapathis, and Kheer in addition to Kokum Sarbat, dates.
It was my first-time trying Maharashtrian thali and it was a good experience. Loved the mutton curry, tender and flavourful. Equally delicious was the chicken fry and the pulao. The sarbat was relished by my kiddo while it was just ok for me. Kheer was good, though it was too thick.
Overall, the portion size was filling and definitely worth trying.
