Merveilleux Moment à Le Frenchy

Le Frenchy, an élégant French restaurant and bar located on the first floor in Marina Byblos Hotel, exudes a warm and cozy ambience with a large indoor seating area in full view of the bar and a live performance area, happening on selected days of the week.

The staff are very friendly and hospitable, the food was just amazing (don’t believe me… just scroll down), and the menu was so tempting that I felt like ordering everything in there. But I had to leave something for the next time 😉

I visited with my hubby and 8 yr old on a weekday night. It was a bit quiet initially, probably b’coz we were early, but it started to get busy in a few hours.

We started off with some of their best-seller entrées – Beef Carpaccio, Black Pepper Shrimp and a Spinach & Burrata Salad. The Beef Carpaccio looked enormous but was over in a jiffy. I can’t stop raving about this classic dish, it looked and tasted delicious. I’m not a salad person, especially when I’m dining out, but this one blew me away. The Spinach & Burrata Salad had grilled peaches, caramelised pecans and a peanut butter vinaigrette, in addition to spinach and burrata. It was a deadly combination. The Black Pepper Shrimp was delish too. The portion sizes were filling too.

My kiddo and I had mocktails while hubby chose something from the bar.

After the brilliant starters, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the main course. Hubster had a Half Lemon Roasted Chicken while I ordered a Black Burger with Truffle Fries. The Lemon Roasted Chicken drizzled with herb butter sauce with sautéed French green beans and mashed potatoes on the side, was soft and flavourful. My Black Burger looked sinful with Truffle Mayonnaise dripping over the Angus Beef. The Truffle fries were lip-smackingly delicious. Highly recommended.

For dessert, we had the classic Crème Brûlée. Perfectly balanced in terms of sweetness and creaminess.
