Momos, also known as dim sums or dumplings, are very popular in South Asia. Usually steamed, but fried and grilled options are common too and come with various veg. and non-veg. fillings. There is no one who is not familiar with momos and if there is, then I have nothing to say to them!!
Now is the time to stay at home to break the chain and also support local businesses. This dim sum joint had been on my to-try list for long but now is when I got a chance to try. Let me clarify that I didn’t visit the outlet, instead I got the food delivered to my home.
Delivery from Yalla Momos was prompt and the packing was neat with no spills or leakages.
Seeing an assorted momo platter made me do a little twist with joy and tasting it simply ampled the effect. The platter consisted of Tandoori Nutri Momos, Butter Chicken Momos and Afghani Momos in 3C. No, they aren’t from school 😊 The 3 C’s stand for Chilli, Cheese and Capsicum. The butter chicken momos were fried and came with a butter chicken gravy dip. The dip was soo good and I even enjoyed the Afghani momos with it. The green dip was heavenly too.
Then I tried Chilli Nutri Veg. Momos. These were flavourful and really spicy. If you can’t handle spice, then this isn’t for you.
Ended the meal with Noodles and Chilli Chicken. The chilli chicken was lip-smackingly delish and tender. A great accompaniment to the noodles. Portion sizes were perfect for a small family too.
