Desi Junction is a new restaurant to have opened in Dubai mid-April, in the midst of this coronavirus situation. They serve typical desi cuisine with a twist, and right now offer home deliveries in and around Karama, where they are located.
The menu boasts of Desi Chaat, and traditional cooking methods like Lagan and Tawa cooking. They also have special combos this Ramadan.
Last week, I tried a few dishes and I must say, the flavours were truly locked in.
We started of with Boondi Chana Chaat which was fresh and refreshing. My favourite was Tunde Kebab Chicken, soft, juicy and flavourful.
The Keema Cheese Bun looked dramatic but unfortunately did not live upto my expectations. It was too huge, and both the bun and the filling was too dry.
The Hari Mirch Boti Chicken looked tempting and was filling. It was deliciously spicy. Loved it with the pav (bun), made fresh in-house.
The highlight was definitely the Mango Milkshake, thick and luscious.
