Bak Bak Chicken can be best described as a delivery only outlet with multiple chains across Dubai, specialising in sandwiches and salads with Middle Eastern flavours.
Hummus with meat is an all-time favourite. Though I couldn’t find that here, they had Hummus Shawarma on their menu, which I though of trying. The hummus was creamy though a bit too tangy, the chicken shawarma bits were soft and loved the roasted pine nuts. This came with their Arabic bread.
I also tried two sandwiches. A Pulled Chicken Sandwich which was topped with pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, and garlic paste and served in toasted panini bread. It was good though the chicken was a little too salty for me. The Chicken Tikka Sandwich is their take on the Indian chicken tikkas, served in toasted panini bread with lettuce and cucumbers. Even though it’s mentioned as spicy in the menu, it wasn’t too spicy for an Indian palate.
Washed all this down with fresh Orange Juice 😊
Portion sizes were good but delivery time was pretty off.
