Bhuk Box is a delivery-only concept based in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), focussing on North Indian veg. and non-veg. combos.
A few days ago, I ordered two combos – one veg. and the other non-veg., Kadai Paneer and Kadai Chicken Combos. Both combos came with rice, in this case, steamed rice, dal makhani, vegetable salad, raita, gulab jamun and kadai paneer or kadai chicken as per the combo. I had also ordered a few tandoor rotis.
The paneer was soft, and each mouthful was a medley of flavours. The chicken kadai was average, it was more about the chicken tasting a little off and not the actual curry. Both were a good combination with the rice. The rotis were soft too.
The best part was the gulab jamun. It was soo soft and melting in the mouth.
The portion sizes were great and so were the delivery boxes but I do feel there was no need for two salads and the price was also a bit high.
