Today evening, I made my way to Shakeaway, the world’s largest milkshake bar company, located on the first floor in Nakheel Mall, I Palm Jumeirah.
They are well known for serving milkshakes, smoothies, frozen yoghurt and shaved ice desserts. They have 180 flavours and millions of combinations and thus tehri tagline ‘never have the same milkshake twice’ seems apt!!
At Shakeaway, one can create their own combination, or they can choose from the readymade options. Since it was my first visit, I chose to go with the readymade options in milkshake, and frozen yoghurt desserts. All their milkshakes are prepared using low fat vanilla ice-cream, the yoghurt they use is zero fat, and the fruits are always fresh.So inspite of being a dessert parlour, they give a lot of importance to health and have a fit and healthy menu too.
They also have a Limited-Edition menu every season. Right now, they have a Limited-Edition Autumn Menu, and I chose Ravishing Ruby Milkshake. It was yummy and delicious.
My lil one opted for a junior sized Nutella Milkshake topped with whipped cream and his choice of M&M’s. it was so chocolatey and luscious that we loved it.
From the frozen yoghurt menu, we chose Georgie. Yes, the varieties here have names of people.. 😊 Georgie is zero fat frozen yoghurt topped with cream, strawberries and Cadbury flakes. Perfect as a dessert or even as a snack or meal, this one is worth trying.
Did I mention that in addition to all these desserts, they also have French Fries, which are baked and not fried!! They sure give a lot of importance to health.
At the outlet, the tables are well-spaced, and sanitized and the staff wear masks at all times.
