The Shake Colony near The Sheikh Colony

There’s a new kid on the block…a new café specialising in different types of shakes has opened its doors and it’s located near the very famous Sheikh colony in Al Qusais. Aptly named The Shake Colony, it’s a small bespoke cute place whipping up delicious shakes, mocktails and faloodas. They look simple and have very low prices, the most expensive item on their menu is only AED 12/- 😊, but they are bang on flavour.

First look at their menu and I was intrigued. Each drink had captivating names like Wonder Woman, Iron Man, Poison Pineapple, Fire Bowl, Peace of Mind etc…. Doesn’t reading all this make you want to try them all…!!! Well, I surely did!!!

So my lil fam ordered a Jungle Bird and a Golden Dragon and I went with the Wonder Woman. I’m one, ain’t I? 😊 while the first two were their signature mocktails, the third was their signature shake. Wonder Woman was my favourite as the strawberries with the prunes was a wonderful combination, something that I hadn’t tried before. The other two were also appreciated by all of us.

Something else that you must try there is their Dry Fruits Special Falooda. It comes with a generous touch of nuts and dry fruits and fresh fruits too, topped with coco pops. This is a must-try.

We also tried another item that’s not yet on their menu but was deliciously creamy and delish, Mango & Cream. When it arrived, it looked way too simple for the food blogger in me, but one mouthful and I was in complete awe. It’s basically just diced mangoes laid on top of a cream and condensed milk mixture but ohh boy!!! It was extremely delicious. My lil one and I had to fight it out!!! 😊 It also comes in another variant, strawberries & cream. Wish I had tried that as well!!!! ☹

Overall, a simple, small, sweet outlet serving simple looking shakes and mocktails but when it comes to flavour, it’s not simple, it’s fantabulously shakelicious!!!
