In one sentence, Zawyet Maryam is a cute cozy Arabic restaurant in JLT. The interiors create a spring countryside feel and from the seating area one can view the live shawarma counter and making of the arabic breads.
I visited this outlet around 11am and I could see that they have a lot of delivery and pick up orders. Ordered a large Chicken Shawarma and ohh boy!!! It was one the best I’ve had till date. It’s indeed huge and the chicken was flavourful and delicious.
My hubby had a large Mutton Shawarma and he loved it. But it did have a little gamey-taste which I’m not too fond of, so my fav is the the chicken shawarma.
5 stars for the brilliant chicken shawarma and the amazing hospitality. Can’t wait to go back and try their other dishes.
