Fly High at High Joint

High Joint looks like a tiny outlet with very limited seating but as the saying goes, do not judge a book by its cover. Amazing things come in small packages and that holds true for this burgers, wings and fries joint in Al Manara area in Al Safa.

A few days back, I tried their Ramadan offering for iftar, which was picked up by my hubby, and he was amazed to see how popular this place was for pickups and delivery. But fret not, social distancing was maintained by all and the staff at High Joint took all safety precautions.

The iftar menu for two consists of 2 burgers, 2 sets of wings, fries, and drinks. For the burger, we chose Millionaire’s High which is a custom premium beef burger with provolone cheese, mushrooms, and pickled onions. It was soft, juicy, and cheesy.

The Ramadan offer is from 5pm to 9pm.

Wings of choice were Asian and BBQ. Both were lathered in their respective sauces. While the High Asian Wings was spicy, the High BBQ Wings was sweet and tangy and if you ask which was my favourite, I loved them both!! Totally different in taste and so delicious!!

The basic rule of a burger joint is that their fries have to be outstanding. Do you agree? Here, we tried 2 types of fries – High Millionaire’s Fries, which are basic fries tossed in truffle oil and parmesan cheese, and Fry High Loaded Fries, basic fries topped with crispy bacon bits. Unfortunately, you can’t see them in the pic, as it settled at the bottom, probably during transfer. The fries came with a truffle dip and their special high sauce.

I also tried High Jumz beef burger with bacon and homemade sauce. This looked so tempting and it was absolutely delectable. Highly recommended!!

Drinks are a choice of fizzy beverages.

If you know me, you’d know that I love desserts after every meal and having something unique from a burger joint was a surprise!! The Peanut Butter & Chocolate Cookie Bar topped with ice-cream is made using organic flour, high quality organic chocolate and homemade peanut butter. Can’t get any better than this!!

Definitely a place to get high on burgers, wings and fries!!!
